I bought a vintage caponizing kit off ebay the other day and it came with a book that gave instructions on using the set, and many variations of the set. I've seen some instructions online, but not these particular ones, so in the interest of sharing information, I scanned the book and posted it on my picasa site. It's copyright 1910, and I don't think G. P. Pilling & Sons is still in business. If anyone's interested, here 'tis: https://picasaweb.google.com/tgperg/CaponizingInstructions#

Darn! It didn't come up. I would lose Pilling's instructions. They seem to be about the best I've read, but I can't find them to download so I can use a copy while I'm doing it.
