The testes stand out like neon lights in the roo when the cut is made, they're bright yellow. Check out Capon's post with pictures. One good piece of advice I saw elsewhere was to practice on a dead bird.

I will do that as soon as I get a spreader. I got a tool kit, but I didn't get a spreader. Now I don't know how to make one, and I think I will have to use the Nasco one (order it) which I didn't want to do. I can't understand how the "spreader" works in the Nasco one. Is that the big rounded thing that looks like a pair of pliers with blown out handles?



Capon: How do you castrate in 10 seconds? I'd love to have that tool!
