Do they still to mate with the hens after they are "fixed" How does that work? I know you should have it done when 3 or 4 weeks old. does I change there desires..LOL or not?

They are reputed to become rather like hens, with some even becoming a bit broody. I expect that the significant decrease in testosterone following castration would signficantly decrease interest in the hens.

That being said, plenty of steers are known to ride a cow or each other if the opportunity arises. Geldings will often also show a lot of interest in mares in heat...
