Okay. I’m glad to hear that she is not too bad. The skin part freaks me out... makes me think of the raw chooks in the supermarket
Probably bothers you more than it does her.
I always seem to have at least one barebacked bird, weak feathers and/or cockbirds favorite. They do fine.
 
Good idea. The two with her at the moment are leaving her alone but they are very gentle. I might make her a raincoat for the area for when she has to go back out. Bad or good idea???
Hi, A rooster saddle would protect her from the sun and the other chickens(with supervision until the wounds heal). It will also help with growing feathers back if you have a roo.They are easy to make and you can find instructions online for them.Hope she gets better soon!
