Two questions: 1. Should I wash the eggs before I put them in the refrigerator? I heard washing them allows bacteria to enter the through the shell.
2. When temperature are over 100, can eggs still be okay to eat if they've been in the heat for possibly 5 plus hours?

Washing is optional. Eggs are still good for five hours at 100 degrees.

I always wash mine - that's a personal choice. I refrigerate the eggs as soon as I can - but many times that is quite a few hours after they're laid. My life is just too busy to collect eggs multiple times every day.
