I have had one of my free range turkey hens sitting broody on eggs for for a month in the trees outside my run. Yesterday I finally gave up on her eggs and I found her some babies to adopt. She has accepted them and they are all doing well (3 little poults and 1 duckling ☺) now I was feeling like she will be okay, turkeys raise their babies outdoors in the wild right? But also I'm starting to worry about them, what if a predator were to come (I feel pretty safe but you never know, right). Also rain is in the forecast for tomorrow.

I know I cant stick them right in the coop with the other turkeys, chickens etc but I dont really have anywhere else to stick them. Any suggestions for a temporary shelter? Or will they be fine in their little nest shes been sitting for so long?
