caring for silkies

am plannig to hatch off a few and am wondering how to care for them best.
is the floor space the same or do they need ore less.
all help appreciated.

They are the same as any other chick, the only difference you will notice is when it is time to move them to the coop. I only have one silkie that will perch, the others sleep in a pile on the floor. Also, my hens will only use my nest boxes that are at floor level, nothing higher.
 
That's good to know about the perch and nest boxes. I'm about to move my silkies out to the coop and need to put the finishing touches on it. I guess I'll just keep the nest box very low and add in a few low perches. Enjoy your silkies! They are such little cuties!
 
yep just like the others said. Raise them like any other clutch. Of course when you move them out of the coop silkies are usually not as hardy so if they need a lamp provide one for them
