Welcome to BYC. Love your coop! Is it a conversion of a playset? Only reason I ask is the slide. Looks amazing and would love to see more pics of the inside. Also would love to see your silkies!

Hi, yes, the old playscape was never used anymore, and so we converted it. The slide is being used as a silo to house old leaves and grass cuttings for the deep litter method in the run. It is working great! The playhouse on top is used as a shed to keep all the chicken stuff out of sight and tidy and protected from the elements. We bought a ready-made hen house for the egg box and coup and just painted it to match the playscape. My husband and I designed and built the whole thing ourselves. We are pretty proud of it! It took us 3 weeks to finish, including putting on a new roof for the playhouse, which was starting to rot out. I'll take pictures today and post them here and I also have another post on the coup design forum. Thanks!

ecp007 That's awesome. I honestly had it reversed in my head. Coop up top and the slide being used to push out the used litter down to a wheelbarrow down below.
