Carprofren advice!!!!

Can someone please tell me if I should crush this quarter of a pill and put it in a syringe with water that I'm going to give my Ancona for pain relief... Otherwise I have empty gel capsules that it would fit in that would make it go down much easier!?!?

Full grown duck and I have them left over from my dogs neuter

You should have no problem putting the pill directly in to the mouth. A full grown duck should have no problem swallowing it. I would NOT crush it.
