Carton Method

I just used the egg carton method on this hatch. They are standard eggs, but i had 2 that were a little smaller than the others. It seemed my smaller eggs may have had some difficulty with the sides of the carton being too deep when they tried to flip open the top of the egg. Has anyone else noticed this?

I am wondering because my next set of eggs are bantams and since they are so small, I am wondering if i should use the egg carton.

Whatcha think?

You can still use it for the hatching. I don't put mine in the cartons until day 18 when they settle down and get ready for hatching.
They are also no higher up in the egg carton than they would be in a turner, actually they would be lower.
