i know that castor bean seeds are very poisonous. my question is---do pastured chickens know to not eat them? we want to plant for mole/vole control. there are other plants in the yard which are on the poisonous list but have not killed my chickens. again, don't know if they just know not to eat them. help me, please before i plant the castor bean plants.
