I have a cat that accidentally gained access to my brooder two days ago. He got a hold of one chick who is about a week old. The chick did not have any obvious cuts or breaks and no blood was seen. She showed obvious signs of distress initially but then appeared to be fine. Today she is still eating and drinking but will not walk or even stand. She uses her wings to scoot to where she needs to go. Any suggestions? I hate to cull her but also don't want her suffering.
