cat attacked by chickens

I have a small barn cat who has seizures of unknown origin,they are rather violent and last a minute or two.Yesterday she had a bad one in front of the chickens.Instead of running they attacked her in mass! The bantys were the worst. I litterally picked them up and tossed them and they came right back. So I really smacked them hard and they backed off but still circled.

This cat and these chickens have been raised together for the last 4yrs. !! Anyone else seen stuff like this ???

Unfortunately, chickens are opportunistic creatures. Even though they were raised together, they'd likely do it to one of their own kind also in that situation.
I'm sorry to hear about your kitty, but I would probably try to figure something out so it's not around the chickens if it has seizures like that, for its own safety.

Thank you it was an eye opener for sure. No wonder people have finally realized chickens used to be dinos!!

Chickens are savages!

I had an EE that stalked my cat. I think it was more for the chase, although who knows what would've happened if she'd caught him??? !
