Yes, we have two girls.
This one is Feona, my other elderly cat. She is roughly the same age as Napoleon. We don't know we exactly how old because my husband adopted her from the shelter when she was an adult as a gift for his mom, who ended up being badly allergic to her, so we have her and she's my cat now. She is the best cat with kids, hands down, ever. She is so patient and sweet. She has never hurt any of them. The only time she has ever scratched was when she had to have a bath and she just freaked out cuz she was terrified.

Twila, one of our outside cats. We bought our house last year and she showed up about 2 weeks later. I never found the owner so she's ours now. She is a very sweet cat, and a great mouser.

All right guys, thanks for bearing with me! This is our last cat. Another outside cat, a male named Job. (Pronounced with a long o sound, like Job in the Bible.) He was technically the owner of the house's cat when we bought it, but he was kind of wild and they couldn't catch him before they moved. We got him neutered and named him, and now he's ours. He is still a little skittish, but I'm his favorite, and he runs to me for treats on butcher day. View attachment 2837502

Aweeee yay! Another homebirth perk really there are no downsides in a healthy pregnancy

Here is one of my elderly cats, Napoleon. He was a birthday gift for my cousin when I was 13 years old. He is now 15. He only likes me. I could pet him for hours and he would be happy, sitting on my lap and purring. He will tolerate petting from other people a few times, but then gets very irritable and hisses at them.
He also is very intuitive towards me and how I'm feeling. He never was the kind of cat to lay on the bed and cuddle at night time, but when I was in labor with all four of my kids, he got on the bed with me and would not leave my side (second picture)
( @HeathenHavenHomestead only during a home birth could I have my cat with me! )
