Cat food toxic?

So I’ve known that because of the high protein content of dry cat food it isn’t recommended, except maybe as an occasional treat, for juvenile and adult ducks but have just come across an article stating that it could actually be TOXIC due to its high methionine content?

My chickens steal the cats food the whole time and they haven't died yet so....

Not true. I know what article it is, and I have no idea why anyone thought it was a good idea to put that misinformation in it.
