Cat food?

Ah! You got me! Good job!

That was not my intention, just still gleaming information

Wow, thanks for the info. I am only raising for eggs and never intend to have a rooster! I don't know if you have a Tractor Supply store in Ohio, but is thee a particular product name you like? I can travel 30 miles to a "real" feed and grain store. I always give my girls lots of Kale, egg shell, grit, and oyster. They seem to be doing fine but any additional help is greatly appreciated.

Can you recommend a high quality layer food? I am currently giving them lots of Kale, (since its winter and not much green stuff outside), egg shells, oyster and grit. Occasional scraps from the kitchen and cracked corn when it gets cold at night. Am I doing ok? I've bought books on top of books and am trying to learn. My girls started laying in late Dec. I'll probably freek out when they molt or go broody.
