Cat got to my babies!!

My ducks are a couple months old and already have adult feathering. One of them (Seymore) stepped between her mate (Darkwing) and a cat, and the cat scratched her bill. I am not sure how to take care of it, but it drew blood and has since quit bleeding. I put peroxide on her bill with a q tip but i know how infectious cat claws and mouths can be. HELP!

Provide lots of crystal clean water for her to dunk her bill in and watch for infection. I'm not sure what you could put on the wound that won't wash off, but maybe the more experienced will know.

Veterycin will wash off but it's safe if it gets in their water and worth applying if you have it.
