cat need to go to Heaven

cat is older and has open cancer on her leg. several other places she has smaller cancers. So she NEEDs to go to CAT HEAVEN very soon. i love her dearly. but she is suffering. can I give her human sleeping pills?
she becomes very stressed if I take her to vet or any place or if stranger comes to visit. she hides but with me she sets on my lap. but now her leg is not only hurting. but it is wet with blood and whatever, The vet said and i called more then one. cost of a vet to help her sleep (forever) is $160.00 PLUS $50. for vet to check the at out first vet then said he would creamate the cat ( for another $50.00)

Please don't give her sleeping pills or other human medicines. Cats are very sensitive to drugs and giving her something in an attempt to euthanize her could cause unnecessary pain and suffering, and possible vet bills in excess of what you have been quoted.

Many vets have care credit that you can pay off little by little like a credit card. I would inquire about that or look it up online. You could also call nearby shelters and rescues to see if they will give you a break on the cost.

Also, many vets will let you take the animal with you to bury and that saves on the cremation cost.
