last night a cat or fox got into our coop and attacked our chickens, yes I know you guys recommended heightening the the fence which we were panning to do but this happened before, anyways when I went to take care of them this morning the other one is in the front yard,so I take her back and I see feathers everywhere, and then I can find my red sex link so The only thing I could think, based on the feathers everywhere, is that she was killed. so I go inside and tell my sister what happened and when we left for school I look up and see my chicken up on the hill standing there on one leg, it was to dark to see but when I got home I looked at her leg and it looked like this... 0517181800.jpg my sister used a herbal mixture of honey and marigolds which she ate but i am just wondering if anyone has tips for her injury.

Most likely a cat getting in and playing nasty with your chickens. A fox would not be as gentle as the wound is. Just clean up with antiseptic or peroxide and things should be OK. Now secure your coop/run so there is no repeat.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:
