what does it really mean when your very loving cat brings home its kill
and how can i break him from leaving his kill on my porch

He is bringing it home to show you what a good job he did

It is a gift , it is of very high value to your cat , and they bring it to where they know you will be. Praise the cat , ohh and ahh and be glad it did not show up on your pillow.

here is what i dont under stand
my cat chased a gopher into a hole
and the cat then stuck his paw into the hole
the gopher bit his paw
the cat cried in a chair for two days in the house
i had to take him to the vet
and after his paw healed he went rite back to that hole and stalked it
i would of thought that he would of learned his lesson
further
he destroys his kill to the point that i cant be the first to leave that door
someone has to always do it first
i have to use another door that is thousands of feet from my car in the morning cause im afraid of what ill find

what my cat does do rabbits is sad
in fact it is sad what he does to all of his killings
one would never believe what my cat is capable of if they met him cause he is so loving to humans
my husband and friends keep telling me that i have no business on a farm that i should just visit a petting zoo every day
they say this cause i cant handle the gross stuff

You should show your appreciation by eating the gift in front of the cat.
