Cat pooping on my bed

Sounds like she may have been lying on the bed while you are away and could not make it to the litter box. If she is sick, even slightly to the point her stool is loose, I would think that is what happened.

Take her to get full labs and worm testing to be sure.

Good luck with her.

That's what seems to happen. We were gone all day yesterday to the fair and didn't get back till late, and she was alone in the house. I'll have to make sure the dogs can get in from now on. She's a very affectionate kitty, really likes company. Her mother doesn't have anything to do with her anymore. She was born last spring.

I think she's upset at being left alone.

I would be making a little cat rug............

I just went through this....we picked up an abandoned cat on the side of the highway. She was declawed and PREGNANT!!! Well we took her home and she adjusted well until after she had her babies and the were all adopted out. It's been about 3 months since her kittens left and she started pooping on my son's bed. To the point I had to buy a new mattress and a cover for it. I still don't know why she started this!!! Very frustrated and looking for an answer too!

cats are very imaginative in telling us they don't like something. I moved mine twice in two months and she literally would put her ears back and head to my bed and wet on it. I scolded her and then closed the room door. Next none of the odor can remain or they will do it again. They can smell what we can't. Use a pet odor remover and also have her checked like the others said for urinary or other problem. good luck Jean

Vinager and water is good to remove the smell. I would re-introduce her to the litter box

everytime she had a "accident" I would drop her little butt right back in the box. You may even have to keep your door closed for awhile.

Can be psychological or illness. My 1-year-old cat stopped using the litterbox and it turned out to be a urinary tract infection--she was associating the litterbox with pain, so stopped using it altogether. Once the infection was cured, she used the litterbox again. She is also a dainty soul who will not set foot in a previously used litterbox, so the automated self-cleaning kind work well for her.

You could try taping aluminum foil on top of an old blanket and putting that over the bed. They really do not like foil wrap for some reason. Another option is double-sided sticky tape.
