Catching Pheasants

So..... I have a bunch of Goldens that I am selling and I am going to have to catch a few over the next week or so....

How do you go about it? Any tips or tricks to catching with the least amount of fuss and feathers flying?

does it have to be a fine mesh net? i have a fish landing net but im a little apprehensive about the holes being a little big and getting a bird hopelessly tangled in it

yes a long handled net is best option

I just catch them with my hands. If I bring a pole, stick or really anything into the pen they go berserk.

I do if I'm moving them to another pen but if someone is buying them then it's daytime....doesn't make much difference, except at night you can grab them before they realize what's happening.

Yeh I tried it at nighttime the other night and you can just grab them but in the dark its tricky to get the right one!

Long butterfly nets are the best they are deep and a bag
