Cats AGAIN and my dog is useless!!!!

I'm really not sure what to do. Perhaps he will mature over time but you have said he is already 1 and half. Aren't you supposed to train them though? or are they bred to be guard dogs.

You train them on what to guard but the guarding should be instinctual. Our great pyr has never needed to be told to guard just told what to guard. He's even claimed our neighbors cows as his to guard. It's just his nature to guard. This dog should be the same but he isn't, so isn't. lol
