Cats and Dogs and Fowl as friends (share your pics)

Here's one of my dogs, a Blue Heeler, named Aussie. She'll protect the chickens with her life.

I love to see these wonderful co-existence pictures. But I hope beginners don't see the pictures and think they can put Rover and chickens together willy nilly.

Just so beginners know, most dog / chicken exchanges usually end with the chicken hurt or dead.

I'll have to get a picture of the chickens roosting by our collie mix Buck. When I free rang the chickens in the afternoon, I put the dogs on their trollies, but the chickens love to roost not three feet away from the dog.
