Many people worry about cats and chickens, this photo shows that they can get along. I will agree that this cat is not normal, if this was my black cat, the chick would be lunch.
This is how cats should be around chickens. When I have a brooder in my office Buddy (cat) will not let anyone in except me and my dog.
