Cats Hate Water, Right?

Well, mine did not get the memo.

The Brothers, Nova and Thumper (Thumpy is a Manx):

Just Nova:

Nova lays right down in the water and just soaks. I have never had a cat that would get in and take it's own bath, essentially! I had one that would try to lay on me and sleep while I was taking a bath, but never this.

I had an Abyssinian that loved water. If I left the bathroom door open she would jump in the tub with me.

Aw, Lenny would NEVER do such a thing!

He really is a love...he plays with the ranch dogs (in his own secure enclosure of course!).

By the way, Nova and Thumper are absolutely darling!

This girl lays on the side of our pond for hours just letting her paws hang in the water. She also plays in the dog's water bowl, and on numerous occasions, popped the top off the fish tank. She has no interest in the fish,just wants to play in the water.

lol how funny! when i was growing up me an my sister had a black kitten named kiko who ADORED water i mean he would just lie in it up to his neck we had a creek out in back of the hosue where we would find him up to him neck in the water just swimming around he always reminded me of an otter when he was all wet and slicked down
