Cattle Panel Question

Mine is too...but thought now you were going to have flaps open for ventilation so might need HC-despite the hot wire.

Wait I'm supposed to have chosen a depth for these post holes??
Planned to dig till it looked good lol. I suppose 2 feet seems reasonable, might not be the usual target but they will only be about 18 inches high.

I'll look at the concrete bags, the Lowes guy said it should be ok for my project, for what that's worth. I know nothing about concrete.

Can't start too early, it's 17 here! Grr enough already! ❄
17? Like degrees???

So it's been wet with very high winds most days, threatened gusts of 60mph. Had to get on the supports and add some temporary ties to keep this thing safe until the end framing is done. It was rocking and rolling a bit too much in those gusts but the way it stands now I'm feeling much better about it. It'll be very solid.

Haven't built the end walls yet because they'll need careful planning around windows I've scavenged from the loft. They need their glazing tightened up and painted and they'll look fine. There are various pairs of them. I'm trying to decide if I can build them into large frames to either hinge, accordian, or just remove in the summer

Here are the 1x10s for the awning style vents(gunports lol). Then the bottom panels and the whole arch is complete. Except one major dilemma.

Here's the problem. Where the 2 runs of 8' polycarb meet there's this overlapped seam.

@aart saw this problem coming and after she pointed it out I saw it but had to proceed somehow so up they went with the corrugations well matched. I thought I'd borrow my dad's scaffolding and get to the seam. Cannot be done, no plank is going to be strong enough at that span to lay on. The panels are totally unsecured at that center seam for about 3 feet vertically, 2 feet wide. No screws. My only thought is to source some strong construction cement specific to plastic and have at it from the bottom. I did slightly pitch the roof at that seam so water sheds away from it.

Thoughts? Is a better solution looking me right in the face? Anyone know anything about the glue I am going to need? I have gutter/siding/trim sealing silicone, says it fills gaps up to 1".

Is it leaking and/or flapping in the wind....
.....is that why you feel the need to fasten it somehow?

Squirt some silicone in there, will seal and stick it,
best to wait until it's dry and warmer before using any kind of sealant/adhesive.

ETA...it looks freakin' awesome!!

No flapping thankfully, although we'll see if 60mph happens! Yes it leaks a bit here and there where the corrugations aren't 100% perfect. Just a drip but too much for actual living quarters. I hate to leave it leaky because, you know, math happens.
