Hi all,
This question is more about materials than coop/run construction.

I've seen numerous posters on here use cattle panels in the coops and runs. I am very curious about the cattle panels themselves. I don't have a local store I can get them from but can get them if I'm willing to drive a bit.

I don't have a way to haul 16ft panels but was wondering how flexible these panels are? I've seen them being used for making tunnels and hoop house type enclosures. Are these panels flexible enough that they can be rolled up from transportation in a pickup bed?

thanks

Not exactly rolled up, but bent/folded in half. I don't know if a short bed truck would work or not. My panels are 16 feet long, so they need some length. but they do fold around, put the open end at the tailgate and be sure to strap them in well. I think it was lazygardener who had a story about panels coming out of the bed of a truck on the road

We've actually used them in the truck bed, folded around like that with a partial for a gate to transport pigs and goats when we didn't want to pull out the big trailer.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm gonna be making a driving trip in the future to see if I can get some of these.
