Post a picture when you catch an adult red fox in a box trap. Grays are far easier to boxtrap, especially young fox.

Great job done! Fox are definately not easy to trap no matter what type trap, 'specially box-type traps. They are skillful at cleaning you out of your poultry so hopefully you have spared yourself of the misery of losing your flock. Just shows that one can "out-fox" a fox with a little thinking applied!

fox are pretty stupid when you use the proper tool I use 1 1/2 or a 1.75 O.S. foot hold trap most of the time I have them in a day or so if you google "tracy trueman cage trapping grey fox "you can see how easy they are to catch there is a fellow in Fla trying to build a cage trap to catch yotes with both the side of the cage and the end opens the trap is so large shipping would be prohibitive
