I was thinking maybe red jungle fowl or maybe old English game? Or a mutt of the two, lol
Also think she may be a bantam, she's more mature than our 15wk olds but looks about
the same size....
She very well may be one of ours, we ordered 39 chickens that arrived in March, we ordered
aracaunas, barred rocks, black astralorps & blue and red laced wyandottes & one 'rare'.
Perhaps she was the rare and got away when we moved them to the outdoor coop. But from
what I understand its an odd day to get a 'free rare' as a hen....can't seem to get a good count, they
move too much. She may just have wandered up from someone else....
Thoughts??

She looks like the hen I found staying at my house and people here said it was an Old English Game.

Thanks!
Thoughts on 'keeping' her? She's been wandering in and out of our pen. We've been trying to catch her since she was upsetting the neighbor's roo's so much and of course
our curiosity about her. She's an amazing flier and very flighty/wild.
Would you try to incorporate her into your stock if she wandered up? How?
