Cause for perfectly ready to hatch, dead chick. Warning-Deceased Chick Pictures

Sorry-I don’t exactly know what that means.

When I was testing it at the beginning, I did, and I stuck an accurate thermometer into the vent to reach where I would usually have a thermometer.

Mostly I was.

Yes, 6 others hatched.
By parameters I mean; temperature, humidity and any variations in those parameters.
Never ever trust an instruments sensors, they are notoriously known for not giving accurate readings.
Looking at the first picture, I'm going to assume you were using a Nuture-Right 360? Although they hold temps and humidity better than most 'cheap' incubators, if not properly adjusted before incubating begins with calibrated sensors, there is no way of telling what the actual parameters were during the incubation and can and do change throughout the process...so it's a good thing to have several sensors inside the bator during the entire incubation process....that's difficulit with a NR-360, space wise but can be done. Also, knowing your incubator well enough to know if 'somethings a miss' helps and that comes with experience hatching with your particular machine.

Thanks. I had checked before setting eggs the humidity and temperature, and it had all seemed good.
