Hi, we're trying to analyze why we've had some bad hatches lately. Seems like we have a lot of quitters. Is there anyplace that shows different stages of quitting and reasons for such? Like photos of candled eggs, perhaps?

We have a temperature and humidity sensor in the 'bator with an automatic turner. Temperature steady at 99.5 degrees, never below 99 and never above 100.5 when the heater kicks on (our sensor communicates with the computer and makes us a graph).

Humidity running around 30- 40%. Kicked up to 70% on lockdown, but the quitters had all quit before then.

It's a large upright freezer homemade incubator, and there is a fan that circulates air.

I guess I'm hoping others have some ideas, because I'm fresh out.

Many thanks!

Thank you very much for such wonderful links!

We know that our Leghorns must be too fast for the roosters--none of the white eggs was fertile. But we had a lot of early quitters.

I'll read those links. Thank you again.
