Causes of deformed egg?

Hello! One of my ex battery girls called Winnie, layed an egg today thats very deformed. Her egg laying production has decreased and she often produces very small eggs a few times a week. She seems well in her self, a little slimmer than the others but she has always been like that. Ive attached a picture of the egg she layed today but does anyone know any causes of this or why this happens? Had a girl with egg peritonitis last month and scared to go through it again.

Egg laying takes a toll on the reproductive system of high production breeds. She likely has something wrong along her reproductive tract.
You could try feeding this hen a human 200 mg calcium citrate with vit D tablet twice a day for a week to see if that helps her.
