Causes of stunted chick growth?

That is promising news! She is still doing quite well, happily acting like she is no different than her friends! If my local store carries it, I may pick up the nutri-drench tomorrow- I am sure it will not hurt. May I ask, do you feed medicated or unmedicated? I have heard many opposing opinions and just want to give her the best possible start!
Great to hear! I've never fed medicated (this is my 5th batch) I'm currently using co-op chick starter and Kalmbach flock maker. I do put a bowl of dirt and fine grit from the yard in the brooder and give them finely chopped greens until mum takes them out then I just maintain food and water in the brooder until the chicks start roosting. Sounds like yours are of to a great start!

I am having the same issue with a lavender Orpington also from tsc . She isn’t shaking but something is off . When she breathes you can see it her whole body .. does that make sense? She isn’t struggling to breathe but it just doesn’t look normal. She is eating and drinking great but is now less than half the size of the others . We named her “tiny” and are hoping and praying for the best.
Thank you all for posting . It has been encouraging to read that none of them
are dying. I was worried she probably wouldn’t make it and we have grown quite fond of her 😊
