Okey dokey. I recently acquired some Cayuga ducks and it has been nothing but love! Although, one female has caught my eye. I know it is normal for Cayugas to have white, I have an older female who is almost 50% white with her most recent molt. The hen that has me wondering, has no sheen and has obvious brown spots on her chest. I'm figuring she should be seperated from the Cayuga breeding group, leaving just green and green/white females.

Would I be correct?

But not only does she not have a sheen, but she has actual brown spots on her chest. I'll have to get a pic, but it's dark and it would be too hard to pick her out. LOL

It may just be that her plumage is old and she has a molt coming up. They can get pretty faded. But, I haven't seen her, so it's hard to tell.
