CAYUGA ducks information please :-D

400

I have just bought this 48 egg Incubator and it arrived yesterday.
I tried it out for 4 hours and it did everything that it was meant to. It rolled the eggs twice plus the temperature and humidity stabilised.
Has anyone else used one of these to hatch Cayuga duck eggs?
??? What is the best way to STERILISE this before I use it??? I'm,asking this because it is second hand and has been used only once. It looks clean but I want to be safe before I use it.
Also I have 3 ducklings hatching right now in my home made polystyrene box in my bathroom.
Ducks, ducklings and more ducklings every where lol

???...A duckling has started hatching during the night and is coming out back wards, pointy end first & is chirping alot!...DO I NEED TO HELP IT???...or leave it to it???

I have 3 Cayuga ducks, 2 females and 1 drake. They have been laying eggs for 4 months. Here in the last week or so they have been sitting on their nests. Switching back and forth. In the last few days we've walked out there 1 dead baby beside the nest another one yesterday an egg off to the side with its foot stuck out of the shell, bloody but still moving.. Should I separate the drake from the 2 females? I beginning to think all he wants to do is mate. 28 days Monday. They have already laid 5 more

:welcomeYes I would definitely separate them while she sits on her eggs. I’m so sorry for your loss:hugs.Make sure that the drake can still see the females so he doesn’t get lonely and depressed but definitely make sure he can’t get to her while she’s sitting and for a few days after the babies hatch.
