Do all cayugas lay black eggs? And if not, why? What makes them lay black eggs?

Yes, Cayugas will lay a black egg when they first start laying. The color of the eggs will gradually change to a light gray in a season.

I do have fertile eggs but have never shipped them and don't know that I would feel comfortable doing so.
