There's a call duck thread/question from a user that was looking for solutions to keep her birds quieter so her neighbors wouldn't complain. I believe the solution that worked for her after all else failed was to place a tarp on the side of the coop that the birds were using to look out of. Blocking off the access to the activity or stimulation that caused them to make a noise seemed to be a big help for her.

Funny you posted this. I got cayugas cause they said they are quite. Mine are 6 weeks and the same as yours, so loud and obnoxious! But I love them..haha

@mamaof2wi right?! The whole point of the Cayuga was because it's supposed to be the quietest duck other than a Muscovy! Hysterical! They are neat though, aren't they?!
