I was wondering if a drake Cayuga can breed with a khaki campbell hen or other ducks without the hens getting hurt?

Yes. All domestic ducks, except Muscovy, are descended from Mallards and can cross breed and produce fertile offspring.

But since the drakes are so big ( sometimes up to 8 pounds! ) will the hens be injured?

The hens will be okay. Hens seem to be able to support up to x2 their own weight.

Ok thanks I wasn't sure. I read something about the females have to have the same size drake
