CBD oil for chicken - pain relief and help passing painlessly

I’ve given CBD to cats and dogs, but not chickens, though I’m not surprised the conversation is heading there. It makes sense to want something calming and gentle, especially when you’re trying to ease pain or help a pet pass peacefully.

I’d just be extra careful with ingredients, since chickens can be more sensitive than other animals. If you do try it, a brand like Joy Organics might be a good starting point, they’re super clear about what’s in their products and use hemp-derived CBD with no THC, which seems like a safer option.

I got that bottle of CBD oil over a year ago, it might not be effective anymore or less effective now. It was never use, I got it for my sick hen, took her to the Vet, a big hole in my purse, and walked out with a dead chicken that name Precious. I got Meloxicam tablets from my knee operation, that was 3 years now so it will also be expired.

The Meloxicam would probably still work even if 3 years ago

Update:
Last night I gave my sick hen Mint 2 drops of CBD oil for pain relief. This is the first time I use it.

Mint is suffering from lash egg condition. She had 2 implant to stop producing eggs, she on 3 separate lots of antibiotics. She was on Meloxicam long enough.

Mint has many good days, then bad days. When she has more bad day then that is the end day.

A few hours after she had CBD oil, she pooped a lot of water, then a lash egg size of a tall teaspoon. She seems to look a bit better this morning.

I wonder if the CBD oil helps push out the liquid? I am only imagining as I have not use CBD oil before.

Mint is not confine, she is free range in the garden half of the time alone and the other half with her flock. They gathered about her, she is 2nd of the low the hierarchy so I wonder if they know she is going to die soon or they are just being supportive.

As cbd helps with inflammation it might have calmed things and got things moving
