Hi Everybody,

Here are the pics of my 'wall components'. There are no windows cut into them yet (obviously), but at least I can send some pictures, so people can give me an idea of how much I should cut out (how big the windows need to be). It gets very hot here in the summer (Boulder, CO) -- but at least it's a dry heat, hee, hee! (As one skeleton said to the other . . . .)

I haven't put the roof on, and probably won't until it actually gets put into the turtle pen (predator proof pen, I hope!), so one option for ventilation (in addition to windows for ventilation and light inside the coop) is to keep the house open to the pen roof (which I hope will be some kind of light-bearing sun-tuf kind of corrugated plastic) Not too sure how I feel knowing that the girls (hope they're all girls) are not locked up tight behind plywood (the pen is well-covered in hardware cloth) -- I also think raccoons might start lurking on top of the turtle pen -- and don't know if that would scare them (whereas another roof between them and the coons would mitigate the impact).

Now let's see if I can post the pics!

Thanks for any suggestions! (Please see my earlier post entitled "ccop within turtle pen" for more info, if this post isn't connected . .. .)
