I have 5 birds and 15 chicks, the chicks I'm not keeping. And I wanted to build a coop in my backyard. I do live in a neighborhood, so I know I'd have to check the HOA rules as well, but does anyone know the Cecil Country, MD Poultry laws?

Try here: http://www.ecode360.com/9894612

My
advice is the read through the regulations carefully.

I looked quick and didn't see any restrictions. But I did not read through them, so I don't know.
The good news is they are defined as a DOMESTICATED ANIMAL, so it doesn't seem as if they have any special restrictions.

Cecil county backyard chickens on facebook. we are fighting the county to allow chickens, as of now you must have 1 acre to have any birds... under that and only a cat and dog are allowed.
