Cedar Cat Litter In Same Room As Brooder?

I recently got cedar cat litter so I could compost it and I keep the litterbox for the cat in the basement. I'm getting month old chicks tomorrow and I'm wondering if it will be a problem for the chicks to be in the basement about 10ft away from the litterbox? The chicks would be in pine shavings themselves.

The aromatic fumes coming from chicks placed upon cedar can cause respitory problems. Having cedar cat litter in the same room will cause absolutely no problems at all.
