Cedar Tree Trunk Roost in Run??

First timer here...

I know cedar shavings are a no-no, but what about a Cedar Tree Trunk for jungle jim/roost in the run? Should I be concerned about the chicks peeling off the bark and eating it?

I would not worry about chicks eating the cedar tree trunk. I don't think there is a hazard involved. I do however recommend yo wear gloves if you decide to debark the tree. Those splinters are an aggravation.
