Can my 4 month old chickens have celery?

NO no I dont mean to be rude but celery in stringy and will chok them One of my red silkie hens was feed celery then 5 minutes later was dead with celery in her mouth .

If they will eat it. I have offered my now 18-week olds raw celery several times, first time they were 6 weeks....they will peck at it once or twice, then look at me like 'are you trying to kill us?!' I've even left it in the pen 2 or 3 days and they won't touch it.

Ok, well, I don't want to take any chances with killing my girls. I won't feed it to them. Thanks for all of the thoughts though!
