Cell phone companies are crooks

and that's why i don't use them.....we use straight talk......it's not worth the time to even battle with att any more so we got rid of our house with them...life is better with out them!

The worst part is the US government subsidises the cellphones and has for almost 20 years. When your cell carrier charges you $700 for the new iPhone they paid under $100 for it and the Tax Payers paid the rest. Then they send you a bill for 900% markup. The actual iPhone cost about $20 to make and that includes chinese (slave labor) costs.

No one ever talks about how the cell companies don't improve your credit but if you don't pay they do harm it. For this fact I REFUSE to get a contract.

They're all scam artists alright! Why hasn't AT&T and Verizon gotten in trouble for putting two "Totals" on my bill in place of one Total? It's there are two totals then one isn't a total. Seriously, why make it so obvious they're bending me over.
