Census...Another reminder?

Hubby and I are at ODDS about this census.

On the news today talking about census, I asked him if we ever got our census and he said yes and I shredded them!

Why, I asked, what was the reason for shredding them?

Because they are nosey and it is for their own profits. They can get it from the income tax papers, he replied.

TRUE but for ME, I would like to get myself and dd counted, (omit dh in the census). I have no way of calling because my TDD does not work. I hope a census taker will come by to my door and I will tell him what he needs so I can tell my descendents that I was worthy to be counted and they can find me in there! And proud to be American. Get this....hubby's grandmother was a census taker for many years and his grandfather was a mayor of a small town, sooooooooo why does he hate politics? His father is the same thing, told them to kiss his butt as well.

So would he be in trouble with the law, SERIOUSLY??????? He does not think so and he does not care. I told him about DC quote, dont complain .... LOL!

I have my postcard sitting right next to me. Is it stupid to mail out a letter saying that you will receive a census. Maybe. Is it stupid to send a card out the week after I sent in my census. Heck ya. A month later... lets just call it a "late notice" makes a bit more sense to me. But when has the Government ever made sense?? Shall we discuss Health Ca.....................................................................................................................................

we got one in the mail. we haven't opened it yet HAHAHA but the outside says, "IT'S AGAINST THE LAW TO IGNORE THIS." or whatever. my mom said, "Heather, you are going to jail for selling illegal ducklings and I am going to jail for not filling out the census." hahaha. i almost fell over laughing.
