Hello,

We got two Ameraucanas and one Rhode Island Red as pullets the first week in Feb. They have been in the back yard for a while now, and we are still waiting for their first egg to come. That should be any day now (we're hoping). We have learned their personalities and have really grown on us over the time we've had them. The only thing that seems like it could become an issue is the amount of flies that are in their run. I use grass clippings in their run and try to change it out every week or two to mitigate the issue. . But other than that, just saying hello! Here are some pics, they are about 2 months old but that's all I have on this computer.

With all the rain we've had, don't try anything but maybe sand in the run. You can make a nice compost pile away from the run for them to play in and use the grass clippings for that.

Come overto the CO thread. There are a few others in Denver.

The rain has kept things interesting. How do i find the CO thread? I am still unfamiliar how to navigate this forum.
