Hello everyone! I've been "lurking" for several months. This site really helped me prepare for my flock. I am so thankful for the wonderful information in this community! My girls are: 2 black stars, 1 white cochin, 1 buff orp., 1 barred rock, 1 s.l. wyndotte, and 1 jersey black giant. I also have 3 dogs (plus my roommate has 2 for a total of 5), 1 cat, 1 rabbit, and 2 ducks. I have a few raised bed vegetable gardens and a crazy fascination with compost. My husband is the most patient and wonderful man on the planet. We're happily making the most of a 7,000sf urban lot.
