Central Florida "Spring Has Sprung" Poultry Swap April 16th Ocala

The swap was GREAT! I found my turkeys!!!! I picked up 4 bourbon reds today and am planning to get 4-5 midget whites next weekend from A.T.

Who knows, I may just shift my meat production over to turkey...

Anyway, Great day!!! Looking forward to the next one.

I had a great time and it's always a pleasure to see everyone. Chicken people are the best people!!!

Thank you Eric and Le and especially for all your help you gave and arranged.

I am trying to figure out what to bring to TSC on Saturday. I will leave the SQ birds home unless somebody PM's me and requests them. Should I bring my big Brahma rooster? Also, I have some young brahma/BR mixed cockerals about 2 months old. They will be big and pretty for anyone who may want them. I have some young BR of all different ages. It seems that the BR is the breed of the year. I couldn't believe that I didn't see any RIR's yesterday.

See you all on Saturday again.

Susan, I have some RIR chicks a month old. I was going to bring them but I want a couple more RIR Roos so I decided to keep them a little longer. I think I have several pullets but not quite sure on the roos yet. I will have some Isa Brown chicks for the J & J Tack and The Pampered Pullets swap on May 14th. They are due to hatch on May3rd.

Susan Your dark Roo didnt go yesterday. Bring him I am looking for a roo. Doesnt have to be SQ just a roo to go in my other brahma pen.
Going to the Doctors tomorrow hopefully will get some relief .
